So my car got stolen
Walking out to find your car is not in the spot you left it leaves you with a feeling that you probably have never experienced before. It is like losing your wallet but on a much greater scale. The contents of your wallet are more or less replaceable. You can cancel your credit cards and get a new drivers license. Replacing your car when it’s stolen isn’t so simple. The cops never did find my car. They told me it was probably taken to a chop shop and stripped. The first week I have relied on friends to get me around but I know I can’t continue relying on them. I am still waiting on the insurance company to cut me a check for my stolen car so in the time being I’m going to have to rent a car. I am in the process of figuring out which company I want to go with. I have to compare car rental companies until I find the best one. There are a lot of them in Melbourne. I am trying to find the one with the best deal because I don’t want to spend a lot of money on this.
